A new office is a promise you have to keep.

On 17 September 2026, we opened our Mumbai office: Avium Studios and Garuda X Media. It was a moment I wanted to stop and take in. People had given their time, their support and their belief to help us reach that room.

I felt grateful. I also knew what the next morning would ask of us.

A new office gives a dream an address. After that, the work has to give the address a meaning. People walk in with expectations. A team expects direction. A client expects us to keep our word. All of those expectations are real.

My ambition for Avium is big. I want us to create films and original stories that can travel. I want a studio rooted in India that can work across borders with confidence. Our India and UK presence is part of that journey. There is a long way to go, and I want to do the work that makes the next step possible.

That means learning to think beyond my own creative contribution. A founder has to notice where people are getting stuck. Who needs a clearer brief? Which decision has been waiting too long? What did we promise, and have we given the team a realistic way to deliver it?

I am learning that responsibility alongside the filmmaking. The vision may begin with one person. The ability to carry it forward has to grow across the team.

Prriyankaa Bajpai brings her own vision through Garuda X Media. Harish Shah has been part of helping us build the next stage. There are artists, editors and collaborators whose effort turns a conversation into something an audience can watch. I want the work to reflect that shared commitment.

We should be able to dream loudly and discuss problems honestly. If something is slipping, we need to know early. If someone has a better idea, it needs room. If the team delivers, the recognition should reach the people who did the work.

For me, the office opening is a beginning I am proud of. Now comes the everyday part: making decisions, keeping promises, improving the work and earning the next opportunity.

That is the company I want to build. One people can put their name, their effort and their trust behind.
